Ke$ha has taken the world by storm! She has three singles on the radio: “Tik Tok“, “Blah Blah Blah”, and “Your Love is My Drug” and this week she took the Saturday Night Live stage by storm too. The girl is an interesting character and her SNL performances bordered on weird.
For her first performance she was dressed in a shiny black body suit with an American flag cape, and seemed extremely awkward as she sang “Tik Tok”. Although the song has nothing to so with outer space, she was joined on stage with dancing astronauts and laser lights. We’ll give her points here for patriotism.
For her second performance she belted out her song “Your Love is My Drug” wearing a neon glow-in-the-dark outfit, while crawling around on the ground. Vocally she sounded similar enough to her records, but she would have been better off swaying back and forth rather than trying to dance.
She posed some questions to the audience. Her first was, “Does anyone ever stop to think, maybe we are the aliens?” She followed that up with, “It’s Saturday night, do you wanna make out?”
