On June 6th it looked like Lindsay Lohan had broken the terms of her probation by drinking while wearing her SCRAM bracelet at an after-party for the MTV Movie Awards. Reports indicate that followup urinalysis was negative.
Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, told TMZ that her client went directly to the probation office the day after the SCRAM device showed evidence of alcohol and underwent the testing. The results came back negative. The test can detect alcohol in the body up to 80 hours after the last drink has been consumed.
Lindsay is currently in compliance with her alcohol education classes. Her next court appearance is on July 7 and for now it looks like she has managed to take the high road. The judge plans to rule on probation violations that occurred prior to the hearing where Lohan was fitted with a SCRAM bracelet.
