Amanda Bynes announced yesterday on her personal Twitter page that she is retiring. The most shocking part about her decision to quit Hollywood is that she is only 24.
“Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore, so I have stopped doing it.”
Bynes wanted to make sure that her fans heard it from her first, so she ‘tweeted’ the news. Amanda’s latest film “Easy A” is due out in theater’s later this year.
You may remember her from her earlier days of acting on television shows that included: All That, Figure it Out, The Amanda Show and What I Like About You. Her most notable movie roles were “Big Fat Liar“, “Hairspray”, and “What a Girl Wants”.
In February of this year Amanda was featured wearing lingerie on the cover of Maxim magazine. We’re not sure what her future holds but we will keep watching her Twitter page for updates.
