Reports are coming from all over that the secret taping by Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi of “The Bachelor” break up interview on Thursday was extremely uncomfortable for everyone involved.
They spent two hours last night taping a segment that will air on “The Bachelorette” July 5. It didn’t go smoothly. Vienna was said to be very confrontational. He reportedly told her to shut up and stop belittling him. He got so angry that he actually jumped out of his chair and made a fist – as if he intended to let her have it. All of the executives were freaking out.
A spokesman for “The Bachelor” put out a statement to counter the firestorm of reports: “Former The Bachelor participants Jake and Vienna taped an interview last night. As this was the first time the two had seen one another since their recent breakup, the atmosphere was emotionally charged. However, contrary to reports that have surfaced about the interview, at no time was anyone every physically in harm’s way, nor was anyone ever threatened with physical violence.”
The entire situation is starting to look like it might well have been ‘staged’ to bring viewers flocking to watch the interview. The network wins and Jake and Vienna come off looking like idiots.
