Dean McDermott has been hospitalized with a punctured and collapsed lung following a motorcycle accident.
McDermott’s wife, Tori Spelling, issued a statement, saying, “Dean is in ICU. He was in a motorcycle accident.”
Tori also reported that Dean is “in a lot of pain.”
“His friend called me and said he was in the ER. He didn’t want to scare me so he just said he had a crash and that they were X-raying him,” Tori continued. “At first I was mad. I was pissed that he was out biking and crashed. But when I showed up and saw him lying there, and they told me they were admitting him to ICU with a collapsed lung, my heart dropped. My biggest fear had come true.”
According to Tori’s rep, Dean’s injuries are serious, but he is expected to make a full recovery, and will remain in the intensive care unit for a few more days.
Fans of the couple’s reality show “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood,” are aware that Dean’s motorcyle hobby has often been a source of conflict for the couple.
