Actress Halle Berry, her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and their daughter Nahla were seen yesterday at LAX boarding a plane for South Africa.
Berry is set to star in the film “Dark Tide” and since she is going to be out of the country for the next several months, Aubry has been talked into going along so that he is able to care for their daughter Nahla.
Radar Online reported that Gabriel wanted to keep the toddler in L.A. while Halle was working but Berry nixed the idea. An ugly custody battle was averted when the actress reportedly negotiated a deal that her ex couldn’t refuse.
Halle has hired Gabriel to come to South Africa and be Nahla’s full-time nanny. She has rented a home for them to live in and the plan now is that they will all stay together. Her alternate plan, should things get uncomfortable, will be to get him a separate place to stay.
