Twenty-two-year-old singer Rihanna is all set to make her official acting debut in “Battleship”, an upcoming film directed by Peter Berg that is based on the classic board game.
Rihanna will be starring alongside Alexander Skarsgard (Eric from True Blood), and Taylor Kitsch (Tim Riggins from Friday Night Lights).
The film is set for release in May of 2012. Filming is supposed to begin by August 30 in Hawaii. Skarsgard and Kitsch play two brothers who take part in a naval fighting force against an alien armada.
