Who needs Match.com when we have Twitter? Former Playboy playmate Holly Madison fell for her latest boyfriend Jack Barakat via the popular social networking site.
Barakat, 22, is lead guitarist and backing vocalist for the rock punk band All Time Low. The group will release their fourth studio album Dirty Work in March and plan a tour by the same name this spring.
Back to how she met him. Words can be powerful and Holly, 31, found herself smitten with Jack after friends suggested she friend him. The reality television star said: “We met through a mutual friend and then somehow somebody retweeted something funny he said on Twitter. So I started following him and then we started tweeting each other back and forth!”
One thing led to another by way of private messages sent, then phone numbers exchanged, and finally a meeting took place. When Holly was on break from her Sin City gig, she asked Jack to come to Vegas to hang out with her. They hit it off right away and a romance was born.
Madison has been vocal about her ex Hugh Hefner and his decision to marry Crystal Harris. Does she approve? She definitely wants to see Hef find true happiness, but when asked if Crystal is a perfect match for the 84-year-old … she doesn’t think so.
