Just weeks after publicly airing details of their tumultuous relationship on ABC’s “The Bachelor: After the Final Rose,” Emily Maynard has decided to move from Charlotte, NC, to Austin, TX, to be with fiance Brad Womack.
Brad made it clear at the beginning of “The Bachelor” that it would be a deal breaker if a woman wasn’t willing to move to Austin.
“I know love is a compromise, but that’s the only thing that I was very adamant about,” Brad tells Life & Style magazine. “I have some very strong roots there. I don’t want to relocate. I have a career in Austin.”
Brad also took to Twitter to shoot down rumors that he is moving to Charlotte. “Definitely not moving to NC … beautiful city but I’m blessed to have a wonderful career in AUS,” he Tweeted.
Emily and her five-year-old daughter, Ricki, will be moving away from family and friends in NC to be with Brad, however, according to an insider, they will not be moving in with him. “She’s going to get her own condo there,” says the source.
