Charlie gets another chance with his boys …

The long awaited custody agreement has finally been formalized between Charlie Sheen and his estranged wife Brooke Mueller, related to their twin two-year-old sons, Bob and Max.

The legal wrangling has been ongoing since March 1, 2011, when police removed the children from Sheen’s residence – pics, video here.

Legal documents, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, spell out a gradual shift in physical custody from Brooke to Charlie as follows:

  • During the first two months Charlie gets the twins every other weekend from Saturday AM until Sunday PM.
  • The second two month period will give Sheen every other weekend from Saturday AM until Monday AM.
  • If all is going well in both camps, Wednesday AM until Thursday AM will be added during the third two month interval.
  • Both parents must submit to random drug testing 3 times a month for an unspecified period of time.
  • The regular nannies that provide care at the Mueller residence must be with the children at all times.
  • Charlie’s goddesses cannot appear in public displays of affection with the boys.
  • Neither parent can be photographed around the children in the presence of a romantic counterpart.

Seems fairly straightforward. We can’t help but wonder how all of this will be impacted by Sheen’s My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Death is Not an Option Tour. His first gig is tonight in Detroit and he’s got a full dance card until at least May 2.
