The FBI has identified the person who made death threats against Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong and her 5-year-old daughter Kennedy.

“This was taken very, very seriously. The death threats Taylor and her daughter received are from a teenage girl that lives in New Jersey. The teenager appears to suffer from mental health issues,” a law enforcement source tells Radar Online. “Taylor is extremely grateful to the FBI for identifying the culprit.

Armstrong received the death threats Sunday night via Twitter from the teenager who used the handle @hardboiledeggs. The account has since been deleted by Twitter.

The first tweet said: “See u on February 7 ill be there with a book and a rope so i can kidnap u.”

Armstrong, who will be in New Jersey on February 7 for a book signing, replied saying: “Don’t ever contact me again.”

“Turn around bright eyes every now and then, Kennedy’s dead,” replied the teen, who suffers from mental health issues, according to the source.

“You are disgusting! The most horrible message,” Taylor responded.

Other Twitter users urged the reality star to contact authorities.

“It was disturbing for Taylor to find out that the girl lives in New Jersey, because of the specific threat she got in regards to her book signing in the Garden state on February 7,” says the source, who tells Radar Online that Taylor is grateful to the FBI for identifying the person behind the threats.

Taylor’s book, “Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within,” goes on sale February 7th.
