Justin Bieber got an 18th birthday surprise from his manager Scooter Braun during an appearance on The Ellen Show.
As the teen was chatting it up with Ellen DeGeneres, she asked Braun to join them on stage, an unusual move that wasn’t lost on Bieber.
In a heartfelt tribute to the kid he has mentored and guided for the past five years, Scooter said, “You work really, really hard. I always yell at you — don’t get anything flashy. You know, we’re not about that. Be humble, be humble and I kind of broke my own rule.”
The shiny $100K+ ride is an eco-friendly Fisker Karma, a luxury hybrid sports car manufactured in Finland.
Ellen pointed out the obvious, “It’s a hard-to-get car.”
Then the show host gave him a few gifts of her own for his birthday, a reflective sun shield featuring their likenesses and an Ellen bobblehead doll to be mounted on the car dash.
