New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries is currently in the middle of a divorce with reality star Kim Kardashian. It is being reported that the basketball player will be defending himself in court.
Their infamous 72 day marriage came to a screeching halt at the end of October 2011 when Kim filed for divorce citing irreconcilable difference.
Humphries wanted to use his Minnesota business lawyer but California law prohibited him from securing the services of an out-of-state attorney.
Kris hired representation in Los Angeles but it is being reported that the attorney has since removed himself from the case. This could pose a problem for Humphries.

Apparently Humphries hasn’t heard the old proverb ‘He who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client.’
