Jessica Simpson made a guest appearance last night on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to promote her new television show Fashion Star.
The late night talk show host managed to steer the conversation to the subject of her nude cover shot for ELLE magazine’s April 2012 issue.
Simpson revealed, “I shot that a couple of months ago. I don’t look like that now. I wanted to do it. I mean, ELLE didn’t even ask me if I would want to do it, I just always had the idea in my mind that I would do it.”
Playing devils advocate, Leno inquired, “Did you get permission from your manager father Joe Simpson?” She responded, “No. I don’t think that he would have recommended it.”
Jessica took the opportunity to shoot down rumors that she has more than one baby on board. She said, “No, it’s not twins. I know it looks like it. I’m waddling at this point. It’s a lot of weight to carry on six inch heels!”
She shared a Twitpic last night showing her in the makeup chair prior to chatting it up with Jay. Even that pose was revealing — though it wasn’t her baby bump this time.
