David Beckham and his wife Victoria have listed their historic Hertfordshire mansion for $28 million.

The power couple decided that they will make Los Angeles their permanent home and find it wasteful to have a property of this magnitude sitting empty most of the year.

The seven-bedroom Georgian estate sits on 24 landscaped acres and features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a petting zoo, stable, helicopter pad, recording studio, playground, billiards room, gym, golf course, gazebos, garden pavilion with a marble floor and tennis courts.

With several renovations and addition, the original $4 million purchase has skyrocketed in value since the couple bought it in 1999.

Beckham signed with L.A. Galaxy three years ago and the family, including three sons and a daughter, have settled well into their U.S. lifestyle. Brooklyn is 12, Romeo, 10, Cruz, 7, and Harper, 8 months.
