Robin Thicke was transported last night in the back of an LAPD cruiser but officers were simply giving the crooner a lift home after he smashed up his luxury ride on Sunset Blvd.
The 35-year-old singer was leaving the parking lot of the famed West Hollywood Chateau Marmont when he was reportedly cut off by another vehicle. Thicke ended up crashing his black convertible into a parked Volkswagen.
From our gallery of photographs it is obvious that Thicke’s sports car suffered significant damage, as evidenced by the condition of the buckled rear wheel on his Porsche 911 Cabriolet.
After police took his statement and filed a report they loaded the celebrity into the back of their cruiser and delivered him to his nearby residence.
It looks like Thicke, a mentor on the ABC show ‘Duets,’ is off the hook as neither alcohol nor drugs were cited as factors in the crash.
