Robert Pattinson has moved out of the house he shares with girlfriend Kristen Stewart following the revelation of her affair with director Rupert Sanders.
The 26-year-old actor is said to be understandably “heartbroken and angry” over Stewart’s infidelity with the 41-year-old married father of two.
“I’m not sure they’ll be able to recover from this,” a source says of the couple who began dating while filming Twilight.
Photos of Stewart and her Snow White and the Huntsman director were published in Us Weekly after she left the Hollywood home she shares with Pattinson on July 17 and spent the afternoon driving around with Sanders “in search of places to make out.” They were photographed kissing in a car and later “canoodling and hugging” in a park in what was described as a “marathon make-out session.” (See photos)
Sanders, who is married to model Liberty Ross, issued a statement apologizing to his wife and children for his indiscretion.
Stewart, 22, also issued a public apology to Pattinson to the astonishment of many, considering how private she has been about her relationship with the actor.

Her apology may have been a desperate attempt to reach out to Pattinson who is reportedly “miserable, heartbroken and humiliated” and not in contact with Stewart.
