Leave it to Beyonce to buck fashion trends and hit the 2013 Grammy Awards red carpet in a casually elegant pantsuit.
The head-turning ensemble by Osman Yousefzada featured a black-and-white top with structured shoulders and open sleeves. It was worn over form fitting high-waisted pants that hugged her in all the right places and were tight at the ankles.
With her hair parted down the middle and pulled into a low ponytail, Bey accessorized her look with black peep-toe pumps and metallic cuffs on her wrists.
CBS was undoubtedly thrilled with her decision to cover up … a memo that clearly didn’t garner much attention from the majority of Grammy attendees, as evidenced by these red carpet images.
Beyonce recently received some flak for her lack of clothing during the Pepsi Halftime Show in New Orleans during Super Bowl XLVII. Her publicist reportedly sent messages to several websites in the days following the extravaganza, asking them to take down pics that captured the singer in some unflattering poses.
One thing is certain … Mrs. Carter looks fabulous no matter what she does or doesn’t wears.
