After a week without anyone being eliminated, Amber Holcomb hit a wall last night on ‘American Idol’ and was sent packing.
Show host Ryan Seacrest announced, “We have to say goodbye to the beautiful and talented Amber tonight.”
The 19-year-old from Houston, Texas narrowly missed out on the homecoming episode, during which the ‘Idol’ Top 3 return home to a hero’s welcome.
This means that the ‘Idol’ Top 3 are Candice Glover, Angie Miller and Kree Harrison.
Holcomb wiped away tears as she took the stage one last time for her farewell performance of ‘I Believe in You and Me.’ Check it out on video below:
Her fellow contestant Candice Glover tweeted: “Gonna miss my Amber so hard. Never met such a boss in my life. You’re a rock star. Can’t wait to tour with u @AmberAI12.”
