I live on the lake, so I always try to plan a party to celebrate the beginning of the summer season. This year was no exception, although I found it a bit more daunting with family birthdays, graduations, weddings and other events which required my attention, leaving me very little time to shop for extra ingredients to prepare cocktails.

Enter Seagram’s Escapes: ready-to-drink beverages which come in a wide variety of refreshing fruit flavors and colors perfect for a no-fuss celebration! Seagram’s Escapes is a great base that can be mixed with other spirits to create a cocktail. We tried a few from the Seagram’s Escapes website, such as the Blackberryita, which combines Blackberry Breezer with tequila, lemon and lime juice for a quick, easy and great tasting blackberry margarita! And the Old Fashioned Cherry Cola, with Seagram’s Escapes Black Cherry Fizz combined with cola, vodka and a dash of bitters.

Even though the pool party turned into a porch party, not even the rain could dampen our spirits as we fired up the grill and sipped on Seagram’s Escapes. The bottles come in fun colors and flavors, like Raspberry Lemonade, Kiwi Strawberry, Watermelon Splash, Peach Fuzzy Navel, Classic Lime Margarita, Blackberry Breezer – a combination of blackberries and pears, Aloha-Tini with pineapple and star fruit flavor, and a taste of the tropics with the coconut and pineapple flavored Calypso Colada, and other refreshing and fruity flavors.

The pouches were perfect for enjoying by the pool (before the rain came), offering delicious frozen drinks without the hassle or mess of a blender. Choose from classic flavors like Pina Colada, Margarita, Sangria and Strawberry Daiquiri, or opt for exciting new flavor combinations like the Blue Hawaiian – a refreshing combination of pineapple, orange, and light cherry notes, or the lemon, strawberry, watermelon and guava flavored Jamaican Me Happy.
