Supermodel Bar Refaeli has signed on as host of the upcoming Israeli edition of ‘The X Factor’ this fall.
Channel 2 network Reshet Broadcasting recently acquired the rights to the FremantleMedia produced franchise created by Simon Cowell, and have signed Refaeli to a $270,000 contract that will make her the highest paid cast member on the show.
The 27-year-old was born on a horse ranch in Hod HaSharon, Israel and began modeling as a child, and in earnest after the braces were removed from her teeth at age 15.
She dated Hollywood A-lister Leonardo DiCaprio for several years, beginning in 2005.
Bar’s career soar internationally when she debuted in the 2007 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Two years later she was the featured cover girl on the 2009 SI issue.
The gorgeous blonde was voted #1 on Maxim’s Hot 100 List in 2012, and was featured in a 2013 Super Bowl Go Daddy commercial dubbed ‘Smart Meets Sexy’ – check it out here.
