The made-for-television adaptation of the Bill O’Reilly book ‘Killing Kennedy’ will air on the National Geographic Channel in November, with Rob Lowe cast in the starring role.

The film will mark the 50th anniversary of the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy that occurred at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, November 22, in front of the Texas School Book Depository in Dallas at the hands of lone gunman Lee Harvey Oswald.

Featured in the role of First Lady Jackie Kennedy will be Ginnifer Goodwin. The shooter’s wife, Marina Oswald, will be portrayed by Michelle Trachtenberg.

The adaptation of O’Reilly’s previous historical novel, ‘Killing Lincoln,’ aired on the National Geographic Channel in February 2013 – hosted and narrated by Tom Hanks.
