During a White House event Tuesday celebrating Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage month, Barack Obama addressed the crowd and pointed out a lipstick stain on his collar.
POTUS joked, “I wanna thank everybody who’s here, the incredible warmth of the reception. A sign of the warmth is the lipstick on my collar.”
He proceeded to call out a former ‘American Idol’ runner-up as he deadpanned, “I have to say, I think I know the culprit. Where’s Jessica Sanchez?”
Then he clarified, “Jessica–it wasn’t Jessica. It was her aunt. Where is she? Auntie, right there. Look at this, look at this.”
In an attempt at full disclosure, he added, “I just want everybody to witness. I do not want to be in trouble with Michelle. That’s why I’m calling you out right in front of everybody.”
Sanchez hit Twitter to share a photo that she captioned, “I had a blast thanks to these people & more! #WhiteHouseParty”
Sanchez was tapped to sing ‘God Bless America’ at the National Memorial Day Concert over the weekend. Last month she sang ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ at the White House Easter Egg Roll.
