One of my favorite Twin Cites radio personalities Tony Fly has landed a new television gig and we’re excited to spread the word about ‘On the Fly,’ set to debut on WFTC My29 next week.
Host Tony will be joined by Fox 9 traffic reporter Kelsey Soby and former KTWN producer Dan Edwards.
The show debuts on July 22, featuring a Monday through Friday format at 11 p.m., with a repeat at 8 a.m. the following morning.
Fly told the Pioneer Press that the one-hour program will be a fast moving, content-filled show with “some fun, laughs and games.”
Expect the show to be very interactive on Facebook and Twitter. In addition, the hosts plan to hook up with a variety of Skype guests.
This writer got to hang out on set for a practice taping last week and I left wanting more. Suffice it to say – there will be tons of craziness and good humor.
Tony, Kelsey and Dan will be hosting a premiere party and sharing a sneak peek video of the new show at Hubert’s Target Center on Monday, July 22 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. You’re all invited for some free food and drink specials and a chance to be ‘On the Fly.’
Check out the video below for a dose of the cool chemistry that is sure to make this show an instant Twin Cities hit:
