Walking the red carpet Thursday at the 2013 Bambi Awards in Berlin were ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer Miley Cyrus and fashion model and designer Victoria Beckham.
Miley wore a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier dress that was both sophisticated and demure. She was honored at the event in the International Pop category.
The Bambi jury noted, “Miley Cyrus is the star of the hour; all attention is on her. She is a brilliant musician who has what it takes to become one of the greatest entertainers of our time… She has broken down walls and simultaneously shattered her old image once and for all.”
Victoria was at the event to accept an award for her work in fashion. She wore a low cut maxi dress in black that revealed a great deal of cleavage.
Traveling with VB from Los Angeles to Germany to assist her in getting ready for the award show were celebrity hair guy Ken Paves and makeup artist Sara Lucero.
The normally non-smiling celeb had a little fun with her entourage in the car after the high profile event.
Presenting Victoria with her award was German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who is based in Paris. He is the head designer and creative director for the fashion house Chanel as well as the Italian house Fendi, in addition to his own label.
Beckham tweeted, “Thank you @KarlLagerfeld for your beautiful words. This award means so much to me x vb.”
