Who wouldn’t love to read the social media ramblings of George Clooney, especially a string of drunken tweets. It is exactly why he doesn’t partake.
He painted this potential scenario, “So one drunken night, you come home, and you’ve had two too many drinks, and you’re watching TV, and somebody pisses you off, and you go ‘Ehhhhh’ and fight back. And you go to sleep, and you wake up in the morning, and your career is over. Or you’re an a–hole. Or all the things you might think in the quiet of your drunken evening are suddenly blasted around the entire world before you wake up.”
Sexy actress Scarlett Johansson has always remained a mystery and she plans to keep it that way, “I don’t know how I feel about this idea of, ‘Now, I’m eating dinner, and I want everyone to know that I’m having dinner at this time,’ or ‘I just mailed a letter and dropped off my kids.’ I can’t think of anything I’d rather do less than have to continuously share details of my everyday life.”
Hunky actor Chris Hemsworth believes in the unknown and wants to keep his fans wanting more, “There’s a danger of being overexposed with that stuff. The mystery of who you are is what keeps people interested in wanting to see you on the screen.”
Tina Fey doesn’t have a Twitter account but admits she has peeked at other people’s accounts in the past, “Here’s what I think about Twitter. I think you should have to get a license to use Twitter. Because most people are so f***ing boring that they should shut up. And you should have to get a license. And I’m volunteering to be in charge of the licenses. That’s it. I figured out what I want to do when ’30 Rock’ is over. I want to be the person who decides whether you can have a Twitter license,”
If Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen didn’t own a fashion empire our guess is they would never leave their homes. Ashley has said social media gives her “so much anxiety.” Mary-Kate claims, “We’ve spent our whole lives trying to not let people have that accessibility, so it would go against everything we’ve done in our lives to not be in the public.”
Others who refuse to dish on social media: Kristen Stewart, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Mila Kunis, Jon Stewart and Jennifer Aniston.
