Will Ferrell rocked his Ron Burgundy persona as guest newscaster Saturday night in Bismarck, North Dakota on KXMB.

The ‘Anchorman’ star wore his signature burgundy suit as he opened the show with, “Good evening, I’m Ron Burgundy.”

His co-anchor Amber Schatz revealed on Sunday that when those words came out of Ferrell’s mouth, “I lost it. It was really hard not to laugh.”

The comedic actor joked throughout the full half-hour broadcast but missed his final cue to end the show with his famous catchphrase “Stay Classy.” Instead he asked, “What? Am I supposed to read that?”

Ferrell is promoting his latest film ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.’ The movie hits U.S. theaters on December 18, featuring co-stars Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, Vince Vaughn, Kristen Wiig and Greg Kinnear.
