For the Duggar faithful, rumors that Tim Tebow is dating Jana Duggar probably seemed to good to be true from the start. Alas, that’s turned out to be the case.
The speculation that Tim and Jana had been fixed up for “courtship” began when Jessa’s dad, Jim Bob, and Tim’s mom, Pam, were spotted chatting at a charity event.
Tebow’s football career may have fizzled out, but he’s a young, studly Christian fundamentalist, who’s supposedly “saving himself” for marriage, so many fans felt he’d be a perfect match for Jana.
To understand why they were so jazzed about this possibility, you’ve gotta know that there are whole websites devoted to encouraging Jana to break free from famous family, and the Dugbow looked like her ticket out.
Alas, Tim’s publicist revealed today that Jesus-lovin’ QB has never met Jana, and is not currently on the hunt for a partner to help him breed his own football team.
