VanityFair.com: Now clogging the Internet and newsstand

We’re thinking it must be some sort of mistake that Vanity Fair actually launched its website before the holiday season. Whoops, it’s post-Halloween, it is the holiday season. But don’t actually think you’ll get to read what’s inside the 400+ pages of VF each month (with a select few exceptions), though at least you can read the TOC blurbs to find out what you won’t be missing on the newsstand. So if it doesn’t become another soapbox for Graydon Carter, VanityFair.com will undoubtedly fulfill its true mission: acting as a glory hole to showcase all things-Annie Leibovitz.

UPDATE: Yes, we realize you can view the Fanfair section online, with its Horoscopes, Q&A, Stuff and the other meaningless FOB items, but we really wouldn’t get too excited about “international fashionista” Margherita Missoni.
