Earlier today, we got a glimpse of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner’s first face-to-face meeting, and it looked as though the feuding exes were finally back on good terms.
Of course, at this point in her career, the masterful momager is pretty much on par with Meryl Streep in terms of her acting talent, so we may never for sure if the Caitlyn-Kris feud is really over, or if they’re just faking it for the cameras.
Whatever the case, Kris is apparently desperate to distance herself from her former husband, as Radar Online is reporting that the Kard clan matriarch has already started the process of changing her name back to Kardashian.
"She’s begun the paperwork to legally change her last name to Kardashian," says one insider. "She says it’s time to dump ‘Jenner’ and rebrand herself.
"Kardashian is the core name associated with the family’s brand. Kris thinks the name will bring more bang for the buck."
Makes sense. After all, banging for the buck is how the Kardashian Empire got started in the first place. Zing!
Given the painful memories associated with her most recent divorce, we can definitely understand Kris’ decision, but we can’t help feeling that her timing is a bit off.
She really wants to dump the Jenner name now? Just as Kendall and Kylie are growing up and blowing up?!
Kris, you already have what’s gonna be one of the most googled surnames of the next decade. Short of changing your name to Kris Pornandcats, you can’t really do much better in terms of web presence.
