It was a bittersweet occasion, as she’s defied the odds by holding on this long, but her continued trainwreck behavior seems even sadder in light of the realization that she’s approaching the big 3-0.
You see, not only is Lindsay reportedly still partying like she did in her early 20s, sources say she’s completely out of cash.
Rumors that Lohan is broke have been circulating for years, but this time, insiders claim the situation has gotten so bad that LiLo is on the verge of homelessness.
Lindsay hasn’t had any acting work since last fall, when she appeared in a two-month London theater production.
Since then, her camp has reportedly been urging her to take any job that comes her way, but she continues to be picky, as she still believes she’s destined for a Big Hollywood Comeback.
“She’s broke, sleeping at different guys’ apartments, but she thinks she’s Elizabeth Taylor,” says one source.
Despite her inability to pay her own rent, Lindsay allegedly turned down a lucrative deal from Burger King, as she felt the commercial was mocking her past struggles.
“We were gob-smacked. It was making fun of her issues,” says one insider.
The planned TV spot would have featured Lindsay "smoking" a chicken fry and delivering a sexed-up, innuendo laden monologue.
Linds was reportedly so shocked by the script that she rejected BK’s seven-figure offer.
Frankly, we think she was right to turn it down. After all, if a redheaded actress is gonna strike a deal with any fast food chain, it should obviously be Wendy’s.
