Kelly Clarkson is eloping.
She is not expecting.
Following the singer revealing to the world that she and fiance Brandon Blackstock have canceled their large-scale wedding, rumors began to fly that the singer must be pregnant and wanting to avoid photos of herself large belly in a white gown.
But the original American Idol quickly took to Twitter last night and shot them down.
“FYI ….Brandon & I are getting married & no I am not pregnant. We are eloping for one reason only. We both want an intimate ceremony,” she wrote.
Clarkson is planning a new album release and Blackstock is busy with clients that include such big names as Blake Shelton.
In other words: they are simply busy. And they also realize that the important thing is one’s marriage, not one’s wedding.
Sometimes the simplest explanation is the real explanation, folks.
