Following a short social media hiatus, Jessa Duggar returned to Instagram this week with the type of update fans love to see.

Jessa shared a glimpse at her growing family as they enjoyed a relaxing day together, first at a coffee shop, then at a nearby splash pad.

The post was particularly well-appreciated, as many fans feared that Jessa had parted ways with social media for good.

Her break from Instagram came after fans suggested that Jessa had been “brainwashed” by her parents.

Jessa responded with uncharacteristic anger and then took a long break from posting.

When she returned with new pics and videos of her family, many assumed that Jessa might be on the verge of making a big announcement.

The pregnancy speculation heated up on Wednesday, when Jessa shared the photo below along with a lengthy caption about healthcare and family planning.

“Around the time we were married, Ben and I began researching healthcare options for our family and we came across a Christian Healthcare Ministries,” Jessa wrote.

“It’s not health insurance— rather, it’s a budget-friendly health cost sharing ministry that allows Christians around the globe to come together and help to “bear one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2),” she continued.

“This was intriguing to us and we loved the concept, so we signed up!”

Jessa continued to describe a service that sounds suspiciously like a pyramid scheme, writing:

“We’re now going on 8 years of being members with CHM, and over this time, we’ve shared tens of thousands of dollars worth of our medical bills— from midwives to doctors, prenatal care, births of our children, and various other medical procedures and emergencies.

“It’s simple and straightforward, and we’ve loved being part of CHM!”

In case it wasn’t already clear that Jessa had been paid to post “sponsored content,” she concluded by encouraging fans to click the link in her bio to learn more about the service she had described.

Some followers — apparently unfamiliar with the concept of reality stars shilling products and services for money — took this as Jessa’s very roundabout way of announcing that she’s pregnant.

“u expecting again?” one fan asked in the comments.

According to In Touch, Jessa replied simply, “No,” while several fans came to her defense, blasting the question as “rude.”

But apparently, the fan wasn’t alone in being confused.

“I thought this was a birth announcement,” another fan wrote.

Jessa just welcomed her fourth child last year, but it’s not uncommon for Duggar women to give birth in rapid succession.

That’s not what Jessa is doing this time — but hey, at least she’ll have access to top-notch healthcare if she ever does get pregnant again!
