We've known for quite some time that things aren't going so great for Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna.
Now, however, it seems as though their short-lived relationship has come to an and, and they've given up on even pretending that they'll try to make things work once their baby arrives.
Rob and Chyna are living in separate homes at the moment, and sources say they have no plans of cohabiting again any time in the near future.
The decision, it seems, was mostly Chyna's.
Insiders say she fears that Rob is unable to provide an emotionally stable environment in which to raise an infant.
"Rob and Chyna are going to keep their separate houses, even after their daughter is born," a friend of Chyna's tells Entertainment Tonight.
"Rob can be a very hard person to live with. Chyna wants a healthy environment and home for both her children. If there is any chance of not having that, she will make sure to avoid it at all costs."
So getting knocked up by a rage-filled recluse in the early stages of re-entering society wasn't a great idea?
You don't say!
The insider adds that Rob's instability eventually became too much for Chyna, who last month moved out of the posh Calabasas home they had been sharing, and back to her more modest Tarzana digs.
"No one ever knows what kind of Rob they are going to get that day," says the source.
"He has his good days and he has his bad ones. There are days he responds to texts, days he doesn't."
"Chyna is the one who gives the Kardashian family updates on the pregnancy, baby and relationship," the source says.
"Chyna became the person who kept the family in the loop since Rob will go silent for weeks on end.
"She knows that Rob sticks to himself at times, so she has taken on the role of making sure he stays close to the family."
Yes, it seems a lot has changed since the days of the Chyna-Kylie Jenner feud.
In fact, despite her relationship troubles with Rob, it seems Blac remains beloved by the rest of the Kard clan:
"All the sisters, along with [Rob's mother] Kris, love Chyna," the source adds.
"They are so thankful that she is in Rob’s life."
It's a sad situation, but it's certainly not all bad news:
Chyna is due give birth to Rob's baby some time in the next week.
And from the sound of it, she'll have plenty of caring support.
