Though they have yet to publicly confirm it, it’s pretty apparent at this point that Khloe Kardashian and James Harden are dating.
In fact, it’s been rumored that they’ve moved beyond dating and are currently planning a future together. Some sources have even claimed that Khloe and James want kids together.
So it’s natural that Khloe’s mom, manager and occasional stalker, Kris Jenner, would want to get to know James better.
Unfortunately for her, Harden comes from the real world, where people aren’t expected to constantly pose for selfies with their girlfriends’ moms.
Yes, according to a new report from Radar Online, the notorious momager is overstepping her bounds (as she does) and James just wants Kris to leave him alone.
“It’s incredibly awkward,” says one insider. “James is being polite, but he’s extremely wary of Kris and finds her attempts to hang out with him pretty transparent, and he thinks it’s kind of creepy.
“He’s been spooked by the non-stop text messages and phone calls from Kris and her associates, trying to meet with him about coming onto the show and socialize with the family.”
Not only does James reportedly want nothing to do with the Kardashian reality TV empire, he also has another very good reason for keeping his distance from Kris:
“He’s determined not to fall into the same trap as Lamar [Odom] and other guys who have had their lives ruined by Kris," says the source.
Hmmm…We think Lamar ruined his life on his own, but hey – better safe than sorry!
