Selena Gomez is not very happy at the moment.
Although it’s not entirely clear just who she’s unhappy with.
The artist gave a revealing interview to the Sunday Times‘ Style magazine over the weekend, opening up about her romance with Justin Bieber and even touching on why she stopped wearing a purity ring while dating the artist.
Gomez spoke on how she fell in love with Bieber and how many people on the Internet still see them as one person and how difficult it has been to carve out her own identity.
Selena most definitely talked at length about her past with the beloved singer… but now she’s displeased with the way various outlets covered the Q&A.
"Disappointing seeing interviews I’ve done recently that sound like the exact same interview I did when I was 16," Gomez Tweeted in response to the coverage.
With new music on the way, Gomez then made it clear that she’s focused on both the present and the future and she wishes others would do the same.
"I just want to release the album already," she added.
"I’m ready for people to know who I am NOW. Print/type who I am NOW and stop being afraid it won’t give your website hits."
Gomez will release "Revival" on October 9 and has previously made it clear via Twitter that she’s "beyond excited to show you the next chapter, the TRUTH."
She concluded:
"I’ve been keeping so many secrets… I’m reborn in every moment so who knows what I’ll become. As long as I’m happy with me."
