Back in May, now-former Real Housewives cast member Brandi Glanville claimed Eddie Cibrian is completely broke during an interview.

She even went so far as to say that her child support payments basically fund Eddie and LeAnn Rimes’ luxurious lives of semi-employment.

Naturally, LeAnn slammed Brandi on Twitter, which is a timeless activity that comes about as naturally to her as breathing these days.

However, it now looks like this may have been something more than a little casual ex-bashing on Brandi’s part, however …

Glanville may have been right on the money when she assessed the Cibrians’ financial situation, which Star says is precarious.

The publication claims LeAnn and Eddie borrowed $350,000 from some friends of theirs in 2012 and have yet to pay back a dime of it.

OK! Magazine says the lenders, David and Elizabeth Fradin, have filed suit against Eddie and LeAnn as a result of the unpaid debt.

If the Cibrians don’t figure out a way to pay back the loan ASAP, their $3 milion Hidden Hills, Calif., house might be foreclosed.

Eddie and LeAnn reportedly had to do a lot of begging and borrowing in order to pay for said home in the first place, too.

They’ve been able to stick to a payment schedule with the bank and other lenders so far, but they’ve ignored the Fradins.

LeAnn has tweeted about the report, calling it “CRAY,” but she has not responded to specifics about the legal docs OK! produced.

Of course, what’s really bizarre about all of this?

There’s a lesson to be learned here:

If you’re gonna go into 7-figure debt to buy a house, make sure it’s nice enough to appear on VH1. That’s a tip that’s sure to come in handy.

You’re welcome.
