For those of us that have seen Mean Girls a million times, things are about to get sooooo fetch.
Pocket Gems is developing a new app based on the highly popular film.
Jameel Khalfan of Pocket Gems told The Hollywood Reporter that “even though it's been a while since the movie came out, it's been a favorite for people at the company.”
"It's a really good fit for the platform,” Khalfan added.
The game picks up after the events of the film have occurred. Players will be “students” at the film’s high school and interact with characters from the movie.
"You as a user make choices that can affect the storyline," Khalfan said. "What clothing you are wearing, what you do, the characters that you talk to – every choice you make will affect what happens in the story."
Kristen Smith, who wrote Legally Blonde and 10 Things I Hate About You, is writing the game’s script.
According to People Magazine, It will be released later this year.
By the time the game will be released, Lindsay Lohan's five days of community service will have taken longer to complete than the development of the app.
