Lena Dunham is trying once again to be a role model for women.
The Girls star/writer/creator/producer, who recently opened up about her rape, posed for a unique selfie online yesterday.
It all started when she forgot to bring her gym clothes for a workout with celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson.
We’ll let her explain what happened from there..
"Late to @tracyandersonmethod & forgot my workout clothes so had to snag a size large bra and size small pants (wrong in myriad ways.)," Dunham wrote as a caption to this image.
She then added some encouraging words, along with a hilarious hashtag:
"But do we soldier on? Yes, yes we do because we want to be a strong & happy lady #largebrasmallpantscantlose."
On April 11, Dunham also shared a gym-based selfie, talking about the importance of exercise at the time in regard to one’s mental health.
"it has helped with my anxiety in ways I never dreamed possible,” Dunham said of her new fitness routine.
“To those struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression: I know it’s mad annoying when people tell you to exercise, and it took me about 16 medicated years to listen. I’m glad I did. It ain’t about the ass, it’s about the brain."
Insiders say Dunham has also encouraged Taylor Swift to work out. Those two are total besties.
