Jessica Simpson Rocks Daisy Dukes on Instagram; Internet Applauds

by at .

Jessica Simpson's Instagram page is always an interesting place, but lately Jess - for better or worse - has been seriously wowing her followers on a daily basis.

First, Jessica posted some Fifty Shades-inspired S&M pics. The photos drew mixed results, ranging from "Get it, gurl!" to, "Ugh. TMI."

Even more polarizing was a pic that was posted a few days later, in which Jessica flaunted her thin frame and some large, mysterious bruises. Maybe those Red Room of Pain reenactments are getting a little out of hand.

Anyway, Jess is clearly aware that her Instagram was dividing the nation worse than the Keystone Pipeline of the color of #TheDress, so she decided to post something we can all agree on. Daisy Duke rockin' Daisy Dukes!

You may have blocked the 2005 Dukes of Hazzard movie with Johnny Knoxville out of your mind, and we don't blame you, but Jess as the iconic, short-shorted honkytonk waitress is worth remembering, and this pic brings us right back to her glory days.

Jess posted the photos to promote her clothing line, but we all know that she's really promoting those gams!

Hopefully, Mrs. Simpson-Johnson learns a lesson from all of this. Stop with the baby-tossing photos and other stuff that makes us unsure of what to think and stick with being Instagram's favorite MILF.

Jessica Simpson Quotes

They're just the cutest couple in the world. They are adorable. Anybody would wish to be them and you can only wish them well. Just being around them inspires love and everything I sing about.

Jessica Simpson [on her sister and Pete Wentz]

It’s fun to do a small film that might be released to DVD not because it’s a horrible film, but because it’s an independent film. For people to say Employee of the Month was a flop is ludicrous. We made the money back–that’s not a flop. For people to say The Dukes of Hazzard was a flop–it opened to $30 million! If these movies are flops, why would I still make them?
