Not so fast, those who have read all the Game of Thrones novels.

We know you enjoy showing off your vast knowledge of the Seven Kingdoms. We’re aware of how much you love spoiling the Game of Thrones television series for anyone who has not read the novels.

But author George R.R. Martin has some bad news for you.

"People are going to die who don’t die in the books, so even the book readers will be unhappy," Martin said over the weekend at the 2015 Writers Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

"So everybody better be on their toes. David and D.B. are even bloodier than I am."

That would be a reference to co-executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, who have brought this story to HBO and who will debut Game of Thrones Season 5 on Sunday, April 12.

The show has become as well known for its stunning deaths as it has for its violence, sex and nudity.

To cap off last season – SPOILER ALERT! – both The Hound and Tywin Lannister were killed off.

Who will bite the bullet, or the arrow, or the spear this spring? Prepare to be stunned by the answer, apparently.
