Last night on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 Episode 7, the mysterious tattooed man who showed up at the end of last week made an appearance again.
What did we learn on this week’s installment?

The woman he picks up regrets meeting him very, very quickly, as this scary stranger proceeds to kill her and carve mysterious hieroglyphics on her body.
Coulson’s own carving, meanwhile?
He’s gone rogue with it, almost. He’s doing it daily, because "It wants us to know" or so he tells Skye, who knows this bizarre, alien writing is a map.
However, as you probably know if you watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. online, that doesn’t mean she knows what it means. Coulson wants answers, now.
The slain woman was an ex-S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, who had also been compulsively drawing these icons. The man they seek continues to evade capture.
An autopsy reveals she had GH325 in her blood, after which Coulson realizes they’re dealing with project T.A.H.I.T.I. patients, which he’s keenly aware of.
Coulson relives the GH.325 trials he was once a part of, and we learn that the patients grew unstable and began drawing these alien glyphs obsessively.
Via flashback, Coulson ID’s the killer.
As the only patient that carved glyphs on his body, it was a process of elimination he could eventually figure out, after which he meets another trial survivor.
Confronting the killer, Coulson tries to cure both of their carving compulsions and figure out what the map is that these glyphs are indicating the location of.
At the same time, Ward arranges a meeting with HYDRA, but things go south quickly and Ward kills all the HYDRA agents, delivering Bakshi to Coulson.
That gift is the first of many, we’re told. Before going any further, though, Ward says he must check in with his brother Christian for a little family reunion.
