As you know if you watch Bachelor in Paradise, former Bachelorette and Bachelor stars Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul are on their way to the altar.

Shocked? Don’t be. These two were smitten from the start.

Granted, it was fast, but those who saw Marcus court Andi Dorfman on The Bachelorette know he was open to the idea of falling in love and marrying quickly.

Lacy never got her foot in the door with Juan Pablo Galavis, as she was cut the first night. Boy did she dodge a bullet with that blessing in disguise.

In any case, it’s been a little over three months for Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul, but given the intensity of the setting and their connection?

It feels like they’ve known each other a lot longer, and they couldn’t be happier today, because they can go public as an engaged couple! Finally!

“It definitely still feels surreal,” Lacy said. “Hiding it and having [to stay in] safe houses and covering our trails was definitely hard. It’s still a whirlwind for us!”

“We actually calculated how many hours we spent together and how long it would’ve taken in real life to date and get that far. It was [about] six months!”

Marcus tells People that unlike when he was wooing Andi, he was wooing Lacy whether they were on camera or not, or on a date or back at the villa.

“The main difference between Bachelor in Paradise or The Bachelor and The Bachelorette is if we don’t get a date card, we still get to spend time together.”

“So yeah, it’s within a month, but within that month, you get a lot more time.”

“Timing is everything. It all happened so naturally for Marcus and I in Paradise. We treated it as if it were our everyday life,” Lacy adds of meeting her man.

“We both have careers and responsibilities [Grodd is a sports medicine manager and Faddoul owns an elderly care facility], and Paradise allowed us to let our youth come out.”

Congratulations to the couple – one of only two to make it to the end on the Bachelor in Paradise season finale, and wishing them a lifetime of happiness!
