The George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin trial continues today in Sanford, Fla., where the former’s lawyers will get one last chance to make their case.
Zimmerman’s legal team has tried for weeks to convince a jury that the ex-neighborhood watch volunteer killed Martin, an unarmed teen, in self defense.

Mark O’Mara, one of Zimmerman’s lawyers, is expected to argue in a closing statement that his client is a conscientious citizen who fought for his life.
Prosecutors gave part of their own closing arguments Thursday and will also likely get to present a final statement Friday after O’Mara wraps up his.
"Self-defense is self-defense," O’Mara has said.
"What happened out there was not a crime."
Following closing statements, the jury will decide if Zimmerman, 29, should be acquitted or convicted of second-degree murder or manslaughter.
Yesterday, the judge ruled that the jury may consider manslaughter in addition to murder, a victory for prosecutors, whose case has proven difficult.
The murder charge, if he is convicted of it, carries a potential life prison term, while the maximum penalty in Florida for manslaughter is 30 years.
The Trayvon Martin trial has captivated the nation for the past few weeks and with its outcome still uncertain, deliberations should be closely watched.
