Following a disastrous season with the Los Angeles Lakers, Dwight Howard is now a member of the Houston Rockets.

He signed a four-year, $88 million contract with the team this week.

And while many in the media have been waiting for Kobe Bryant to entertain us with some kind of explosion at his former teammate, the future Hall of Famer has been far more subtle in his reaction.

First, he posted the photo above of himself and Pau Gasol on Instagram. He included “#vamos” as a hashtag.

Then, Kobe unfollowed Howard on Twitter, a seemingly bitter act but one Bryant explained this morning via the following Tweet:

“I wish d12 the best honestly. I just find it hard to follow players that wanna kick my teams ass #thatsjustme.”

And there’s the difference right there between Bryant and Howard.

The latter is an indecisive egomaniac who wants to be liked by everyone… while the former is a competitor who simply wants to win. You aren’t with him? You are therefore against him.

Who do you think will have a better record in 2013-2014?
