Two weeks after the untimely death of James Gandolfini, the details of this actor’s will have been released.
According to The New York Post, the document was filed yesterday in Manhattan’s Surrogate Court and listed Gandolfini’s wealth at around $70 million at the time of his passing.
A majority of this estate will be passed on to the star’s 13-year old son, Michael, and eight-month old daughter, Liliana.
An undisclosed amount will be placed in a trust fund for Michael until the teenager – who tragically found his father’s body in a Rome hotel room on June 19 – turns 21, while Gandolfini’s son will also inherit his dad’s condo in Greenwich Village.
Michael and Liliana will divide up their father’s estate in Italy 50/50, once the latter turns 25 years old.
“It is my hope and desire that they will continue to own said property and keep it in our family for as long as possible,” Gandolfini wrote in the will.
At the time of his death, Gandolfini’s other properties included a $1.1 million home in Califon, New Jersey and a $7 million duplex inTribeca.
Neither of these real estate items were mentioned in Tuesday’s release.
