For Brad Pitt, every day was Jennifer Aniston cheat day for a time.
Now, it's just the day she cheats on her diet and eats whatever she wants. She calls this occasional event vital to maintaining her figure - and her sanity.
Aniston came out this week to support friend and yoga instructor Mandy Ingber's new book, Yogalosophy: 28 Days to the Ultimate Mind-Body Makeover.
She reminisced about the old days with Mandy 20 years ago.
"We were a lot rounder," Jennifer Aniston joked to People. "We ate terribly. We did that, and then we sort of grew up a little bit more and we got jobs."
But she says she still has a cheat day every now and again.
"Cheat days for me are usually ... it's either Mexican food ... maybe Italian pasta, but I think you always have to do it in moderation," the star said.
The actress credits her killer legs to yoga and to Ingber.
"It's hard to say is that yoga or is it as we get older we grow into ourselves, but I've seen her become so empowered, so grounded, so comfortable," Ingber said.
In addition to healthy recipes, Jennifer Aniston shared a few tips with Self to get beginners through what can sometimes be a grueling yoga routine.
"Love the body you have right now because that's the perfect body, then be patient with yourself," she said. "When you first start you might feel like 'I can't do this, it hurts.'"
"But you have to be patient. Do little bits and you get there. You do, it's all about being really gentle with yourself and acceptance of what it is at the moment."
