The South Korean rapper’s video already has 110 million views on YouTube, 18.9 of which came in its first day of release, shattering the previous record.
The fact that few people understand the PSY "Gentleman" lyrics didn’t stop him from surpassing the 10.6 million views earned by Justin Bieber’s "Boyfriend."
He has a ways to go to catch "Gangnam Style," the all-time most-watched clip with 1.5 billion views, but he can safely no longer be called a one-hit wonder.
"Gentleman" currently ranks 14th in the U.S. on Apple’s iTunes chart while skyrocketing into the Top 10 in Canada, France, Australia and other nations.
