Emma Watson was mistaken for an unaccompanied minor at JFK airport recently. She was stopped by officials briefly before being let go. Seriously.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower star is known for her youthful looks, and her short haircut doesn’t help her look older. But still, this was a new one.
Emma’s description of what happened, on Twitter:
“Passport control: ‘unaccompanied minor?’ Me: ‘sorry?’ Passport control: ‘where is ur guardian?’ Me: ‘I’m 22!!!!!!!’ #neverwearingabackpackagain.”
Then, amusingly, the adorable English actress notes:
“The really sad thing is that this is not the first time this has happened.”
Good to see immigration running a tight ship.
