After telling the audience she wanted to win “more than anything ever in my life,” Susan Boyle advanced to the finals of Britain’s Got Talent today, following an impressive rendition of the Cats’ classic “Memory.”

That’s actually a very sad sentiment. We hope Boyle, nor anyone else, attaches her self-worth to where she places in a singing competition. Don’t you agree?
